“We had an overwhelming response to our call for submissions, and have been able to include a wide variety of styles in the book. It will be an asset to a wide range of jazz players, from those at the height of their craft to those who are just learning to play. In order to select the pieces for the final publication, we gathered together a team of around 6 key jazz industry figures for the reviewing process”…”The final result highlights the skilled jazz composers who call the North West home – and we hope it helps finally put to bed the myth that you have to travel to London, or New York, to find accomplished jazzers. ” www.nwjazzworks.org/merseyside/news.php?news_id=57
